The Kremlin has not yet received a response to a proposal to direct part of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s assets frozen in the United States to a “Board of Peace,” APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the issue of Russia’s possible participation in the “Board of Peace” is still being studied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with allies and partners.
Peskov also noted that work is continuing on the implementation of agreements reached between the Russian Federation and the United States in Anchorage.
He emphasized that the “spirit of Anchorage” represents a set of mutual understandings that could lead to progress in Russia–US relations, including a settlement between Moscow and Kyiv.
