In the first 10 months of last year, Azerbaijan imported 392,640 units of water filtration or purification equipment ("water filters") from abroad, worth a total of $10,169.4 million.
According to Yeniavaz.com, citing official data, the average customs value of one imported water filter was 44 manat (US$26).
It should be noted that "water filters" were primarily imported from Turkey, China, and Russia. The largest quantity was imported from Turkey (161,354 units). The most expensive "water filters" were imported from Spain (7,150 manat per unit), and the cheapest from Russia (10 manat).
