The 17th International Music Festival dedicated to the great composer and founder of Azerbaijani professional music Uzeyir Hajibeyli will open in Azerbaijan on September 18th, the Press Service of the Ministry of Culture told APA.
The festival, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, with the support of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, as well as ICESCO, will last until September 28. Magnificent concerts, performances, exhibitions, scientific symposiums and master classes will be organized within the framework of the events to be held in Baku, Sumgayit, Shusha, Ganja, Agjabadi, Nakhchivan and Gazakh.
Along with Azerbaijani musicians, well-known performers and musicologists from Turkiye, the USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Korea and other countries will perform at the festival.
