Efforts to bring children affected by the war in Ukraine to Azerbaijan and involve them in rehabilitation services are ongoing, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told APA.
It was stated that under the organization of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, subordinated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, 30 more children have been brought from Ukraine to the country to be provided with rehabilitation services.
The children will receive medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services within the framework of a 10-day rehabilitation program at the Agency’s Gabala Child Rehabilitation Center.
Individual consultations, group therapies, as well as yoga and dance therapy sessions will be organized for them by professional psychologists. The aim is to support the stabilization of their emotional state and facilitate their integration into society.
Excursions to recreation centers in Gabala and Sheki, as well as to historical and architectural monuments, will also be organized for the children.
Together with the previous 8 groups, a total of nearly 300 Ukrainian children have been brought to our country and provided with social-psychological rehabilitation services.
