Hungarian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers argue on social media

A dispute has erupted on the “X” platform between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó, APA reports.

After Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó complained that Ukraine’s attacks had disrupted oil supplies from Russia to Hungary, Andriy Sybiha responded to him.

“Péter, it was not Ukraine that started this war, but Russia. Russia refuses to end the war. For years, Hungary has been warned that Moscow is an unreliable partner. Nevertheless, Hungary has made every effort to maintain its dependence on Russia, even after the war began. Now you can direct your complaints and threats to your friends in Moscow,” the Ukrainian foreign minister stated.

In response, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó wrote: “The fact is that Ukraine attacked the pipeline supplying oil to Hungary.”
