US commercial oil reserves fall below 424 million barrels

Commercial oil reserves in the United States have decreased by 3.029 million barrels, totaling 423.662 million barrels, APA-Economics reports, citing the report published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the Department of Energy.

The report noted that analysts had previously forecasted an increase of 200,000 barrels in U.S. commercial oil reserves.

Note that data on U.S. oil reserves significantly influence the price of "black gold" on the global market.
