A statement made on behalf of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, allegedly prepared using "deep fake" technologies and not reflecting any reality, about the shooting down of a Belarusian plane in Russian airspace, has been spread on several social network accounts, APA reports citing a statement released by Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan in this regard.
We note that these fake videos created using artificial intelligence are an example of gross information manipulation aimed at misleading public opinion.
We call on society to believe only in information provided by official sources and to obtain information expressing the official position of the state from the country's news agencies and other professional media entities.
