Thirteen individuals were detained by the State Border Service in June 2025 for violating the state border, APA reports citing the Press Center of the State Border Service.
Among those detained there were 8 Azerbaijani citizens, 2 Pakistani, 1 Turkish, 1 Iranian, and 1 Ghanaian citizen.
As a result of measures taken against illegal migration, 8 individuals were detained while attempting to cross the state border using forged date stamps and passports, or documents belonging to others. Additionally, 905 individuals were detained for violating border regime rules, and appropriate measures were taken against them.
