A detection system for harmful organisms in the crop production sector will be introduced in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
This issue is reflected in the “State Program for 2026–2030 on the development of production and processing sectors of agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
According to the document, during 2026–2030, it is envisaged to analyze preliminary observation and warning systems for the detection of harmful organisms in the crop production sector, taking into account international experience, prepare proposals, and establish an observation and warning system.
At the same time, it is planned to provide timely forecasts on pests and diseases based on the data of the warning and monitoring system established in line with international experience.
