WUF13 once again demonstrated that housing is not only a basic human need, but also the foundation of dignity, resilience, social inclusion, economic opportunity and sustainable development, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev said at the closing ceremony of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.
He stated that resolving the global housing crisis requires effective multilateral cooperation, innovative financing mechanisms and coordinated action at all levels.
WUF13 has truly become a global platform for dialogue and cooperation for the safe, sustainable and dignity-oriented development of cities.”
