Representatives of “AzInTelecom” LLC, one of the companies of AZCON Holding, delivered speeches at the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
Within the framework of info sessions organized at the AZCON Holding stand, company employees presented two different presentations dedicated to digital identification and smart city technologies.
At the info session titled “Digital Identification in the Urban Environment: Secure Connection of Citizens to Digital Services with SIMA,” held on the second day of the forum, the opportunities created by digital solutions in the context of modern urbanization were discussed. During the presentation, the importance of enabling citizens to use public and private services completely online and securely, without physical applications, was emphasized. On the fifth day of the forum, the next info session titled “Digital Trust for Smart Cities: Ensuring Secure Urban Services with SIMA Signature” was held. During the session, it was stressed that the smart city concept is not limited only to technological infrastructure and internet-connected devices, and that digital trust is important within the ecosystem.
During both info sessions, the role of the SIMA Digital Solutions Platform created by “AzInTelecom” in the smart city ecosystem and in the field of digital identification was discussed. The presentations highlighted the contributions of secure identification, remote access to services, and digital signature capabilities through SIMA to making urban services more accessible and reliable.
