Digital cadastre system to be created for Sheki’s “Yukhari Bash” reserve

The creation of a digital cadastre system for the “Yukhari Bash” State Historical-Architectural Reserve in Sheki has begun, Gulnara Aliyeva, director of the Sheki State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, said during the event titled “Digital Transformation in Cities” organized within the framework of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, APA reports.

According to her, the system is being implemented to improve the management of the reserve area.

Gulnara Aliyeva stated that the new system will ensure the collection and systematization of information on land plots, buildings, and forms of ownership located within the reserve area on a unified digital platform.

“The implementation of the digital cadastre system will allow for more effective management of the historical reserve, as well as the accurate and transparent formation of the database,” Gulnara Aliyeva stressed.

She added that the project is of great importance both for improving urban management and for preserving historical and cultural heritage.
