“There are also problems related to fruits and vegetables coming from Armenia," Head of Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), Sergey Dankvert, said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the problems related to supplies coming from Armenia concern not only flowers, but also fruits and vegetables.
Note that Russia announced it would impose restrictions on flower imports from Armenia starting from May 22.
Rosselkhoznadzor stated that the decision was made to protect Russia’s phytosanitary security and export potential.
