A dialogue session titled “Transforming informal settlements and slums: housing provision for the world” was organized on the next day of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Executive Director of UN-Habitat Anacláudia Rossbach, as well as government officials and international experts from various countries are participating in the session.
The discussions focus on the renovation of informal settlements, financing of housing projects, land rights, social inclusivity, and the role of states in this field.
