Within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) hosted by Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) ensures the comfortable, uninterrupted and safe transportation of guests and forum participants with “Neoplan” brand and electric buses, APA-Economics reports, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
Transportation of guests arriving in Azerbaijan to participate in the forum is carried out from Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
Within the framework of WUF13, a total of 9 HUBs, 2 terminal points and more than 67 intermediate stops are operating.
During the three days of the forum (May 17-19), 3,260 trips were carried out by buses between the HUBs and the event venue, and 56,858 passengers were transported.
In total, since the start of transportation operations related to the event (May 12-19), 5,555 trips were carried out by buses between the airport, HUBs and the event venue, and 68,263 passengers were transported. A total of 180 buses were involved in the transportation operations.
Note that the management of the mentioned routes and the execution of transport operations are monitored 24/7 by AYNA’s Monitoring Center. Nearly 1,500 employees, including drivers and management staff, have been involved in the process to ensure transport operations.
