The United States has seized an oil tanker allegedly affiliated to Iran in the Indian Ocean, APA reports citing The Wall Street Journal.
According to the newspaper, the seized vessel, Skywave, was put on the US sanctions list back in March. On Tuesday, it was west of Malaysia.
This is the third oil tanker captured by the United States since the start of the war with Iran. The Majestic X and Tiffani were seized in April.
