NGO Coalition Chairman: WUF13 is wonderfully organized

“I would like to thank everyone who organized this event, especially the Government of Azerbaijan," Chairman of the NGO Coalition for Social Development Melvine Wajiri said in a statement to journalists within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

He spoke about the organization of the event: “For example, the logistics are very well organized, people are welcomed at the airport and taken to hotels, which is a very hospitable approach. Transportation from the hotel to the event venue is also very well organized. Even the police escort is a positive thing. Security is at a high level because the police ensure safety during the transportation of people.

The volunteers are also wonderful. They provide information about the events and direct people correctly. When entering the venue, the printing of badges takes a very short time, and the whole process goes very smoothly and comfortably. The event is truly magnificently organized. When I entered here, I was amazed by the work done by the government — the stands, decoration and organization are all very professional. Everything is convenient and systematic. From my observation, Azerbaijan already has serious experience in organizing major events. COP29 and other events demonstrate this. I understand that after WUF13, Azerbaijan will also host Climate Week. This is really very beautiful. I think this is another way for Azerbaijan to demonstrate its international hospitality and organizational capability.”
