The first two days of the WUF13 forum presented us with very different weather conditions, and this is a consequence of climate change, Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and National Coordinator of WUF13, said during his speech at the official opening press conference held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
“To be honest, as someone who grew up in Baku, I have never seen this much rain in May. This is not normal. But this is the reality we are facing. That is exactly why such discussions and forums are important. We must find ways to adapt to climate change,” Guliyev said.
