An important milestone has been recorded within the framework of preparations for the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13). As of today, more than 40,000 people from 182 countries have already registered to participate in the forum, APA reports, citing the forum’s official information.
It was noted that such broad international interest demonstrates the strengthening of global cooperation toward the safer, more inclusive, and sustainable development of cities.
According to the organizers, the high registration figure also indicates the growing attention of countries around the world to issues of urban development, urbanization challenges, and the formation of a sustainable urban environment.
Discussions on urban planning, sustainable development, combating climate change, and future development models for cities are expected to be held within the framework of the forum.
