Today, in an interview with the "Vesti" channel, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, while expressing his position on Armenian-Russian relations, once again commented on whether Russia or Armenia would first recognize the Karabakh region as part of Azerbaijan.
According to a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA , the fact that the Karabakh region is an integral part of Azerbaijan is not based on the decision of any state, but on history, international law and justice.
This was once again confirmed and fully established as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 and the 1-day anti-terrorist measures of 2023.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again reminded the Russian side that no country, including the Russian Federation, has ever questioned the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including the Karabakh region.
