The exams are taking place in districts of Baku including Khatai, Narimanov, Garadagh, Surakhani, Sabail and Pirallahi, as well as in cities and regions such as Ganja, Samukh, Yevlakh, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Shaki, Lankaran, Astara, Yardimli, Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Shusha, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Ujar, Zardab, Shamakhi, Imishli, Hajigabul, Bilasuvar, Qusar, Siyazan, Khizi and Shabran.

According to official figures, 49,701 students are expected to take part in today’s exams.

Among them are 54 students with disabilities, including those with visual impairments, cerebral palsy and hearing difficulties. Special arrangements have been made to ensure their full participation, including dedicated examination rooms and individually assigned supervisors for candidates with severe visual impairments.

Authorities said additional measures have been implemented to support students with limited mobility, ensuring accessible entry to exam buildings and halls. Supervisors assigned to assist these candidates have also undergone specialised training.

The exams are scheduled to begin at 11:00 local time, with entry to examination buildings closing at 10:45. Late arrivals will not be admitted.

To ease entry procedures, candidates have been assigned staggered arrival times, indicated on their admission slips. Students have been advised to arrive strictly at the specified time.

Strict rules are in place regarding prohibited items. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, electronic devices, notes, dictionaries, bags and any supplementary materials are not allowed inside examination buildings.

Students are required to bring their admission slip and a valid identification document. Azerbaijani citizens must present their national ID card, while foreign nationals and stateless persons must provide official residence permits issued by the State Migration Service. Refugees and their family members are required to present refugee identification documents.

Candidates without photo identification must also provide a certificate issued by their educational institution, including a certified photograph.

Across the country, a total of 207 exam buildings and 3,664 examination halls have been allocated. The process is being overseen by 601 exam supervisors and chief administrators, supported by 4,554 invigilators, 670 security personnel and 207 building representatives.
