Kavelashvili: Interest in the South Caucasus region grows

"More and more countries are showing interest in paying attention to the South Caucasus region," said Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili during a joint press statement with his Slovak counterpart Peter Pellegrini, APA’s local bureau reports.

He noted that Georgia’s role in the South Caucasus is important, adding that the country’s peace-oriented policy further increases the region’s potential.

The president emphasized that in a complex and rapidly changing geopolitical environment, Georgia’s growing potential as a key link in the Middle Corridor is becoming even more significant.

“The topic of the Middle Corridor is unimaginable without Georgia. This represents great potential both for Georgia and for our neighboring countries,” Kavelashvili added.
