The total installed capacity of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan has increased by more than 54% over the past 10 years, reaching 1,826 MW in 2025, APA-Economics reports, citing the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
According to the report, the figure stood at 1,184 MW in 2016. This indicates that a 54.2% increase has been recorded over the past decade compared to the 2025 level.
According to the figures reflected in the report, the total installed capacity of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan increased by approximately 2% last year compared to 2024 (1,792 MW).
