A complete cessation of aggression against Iran is the only solution for normalizing the situation, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this during a telephone conversation with European Council President António Costa, APA reports.
"The solution to normalizing the situation is to end their aggression. We have never sought tension or war, and we possess the necessary will to end this war, provided certain conditions are met, especially with the necessary guarantees that aggression will not be repeated," the Iranian president's press service quoted him as saying.
"Any external intervention under any pretext in this war and the current situation in the region will have dangerous consequences," Pezeschkian emphasized, advising European countries to adjust their policies toward Iran.
