Humanitarian aid sent by train from Russia to Iran has arrived at the Astara Railway state border checkpoint, APA's southern bureau reports.
The humanitarian aid was handed over to the Islamic Republic of Iran following the relevant procedures.

A freight train carrying humanitarian aid from Russia to Iran, which passed through the territory of Azerbaijan, has reached Astara station, APA's southern bureau reports.
The train, consisting of 31 wagons, will then be delivered to its destination in Iran.
The humanitarian aid sent from Russia mainly consists of medicines, medical supplies and food products. The total weight of the humanitarian cargo is more than 300 tons.
