The United Kingdom, together with its partners, is developing the parameters of a plan to resume shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, it was stated in a communiqué released by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's office following his phone call with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, APA reports.
"The UK is currently working with partners on what a feasible plan might look like to ensure the flow of goods through this key sea route," the chancery noted. It emphasized that Starmer expressed "unwavering support" for Riyadh.
