“We once again clearly declare that we are against military intervention in Iran,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at a joint press conference with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The head of Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry noted that launching negotiations is the most appropriate way to resolve the problem.
Hakan Fidan emphasized that Türkiye is opposed to any military intervention against Iran.
“It is pleasing that tensions are easing. We want issues to be resolved peacefully, without foreign intervention. The joint efforts with Iran against the PKK are important. Nuclear talks between Iran and the United States are of vital importance. We are against military intervention against Iran. We are also against resorting to last and forced options to resolve problems,” Hakan Fidan added.
