The Russian government has extended a temporary ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and other fuels, TASS writes, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, the new decree extends the temporary ban on the export of motor gasoline outside the country until February 28, 2026, the statement said. The ban will apply to everyone, including direct producers.
In addition, the decree extends the ban on the export of marine fuel, diesel fuel and other gas oils, including those purchased on the exchange, until February 28, 2026. This will not apply to direct producers of petroleum products.
The restrictions will come into force on December 28. The government is implementing these measures to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market.
