On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, a New Year's party was organized for children treated at the Mingachevir Children's Neurological Sanatorium on New Year's Eve, APA reports.
During the holiday event, volunteers of IDEA Public Union presented gifts to children and carried out various entertaining games and activities with the children. This initiative gave children happiness and a festive mood on New Year's Eve.
It should be noted that large-scale projects covering humanitarian, educational, healthcare, social, environmental and other areas are regularly implemented on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva in various regions of Azerbaijan and in a number of countries around the world. Organizing festive events, especially during holidays, in orphanages, boarding schools, as well as for children in need of treatment and care is one of the main directions of these initiatives. Such events are regularly organized in order to make children deprived of protection and in greater need of care happy and to make them feel the festive atmosphere.
