In 2025, 36 new hydrocarbon deposits were discovered in the Russian Federation, said the Minister of Natural Resources of Russia, Alexander Kozlov, APA-Economics reports, citing TASS.
According to him, according to geological exploration, the increase in reserves in all categories amounted to 666 million tons for oil and 686 billion cubic meters for gas.
Alexander Kozlov added that the above indicators are preliminary and the exact figures will be known in early 2026, when all reserves are included in the state balance.
