The Azerbaijani Embassy in the Czech Republic held an event on the occasion of December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, APA's European Bureau reports.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Czech Republic Yashar Aliyev congratulated our compatriots on the occasion of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.
Yashar Aliyev emphasized that this significant day, established at the initiative of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, is of special importance in terms of strengthening the unity, national solidarity and ideas of statehood of world Azerbaijanis. He also noted that this holiday plays an important role in protecting the national identity of the Azerbaijani people and strengthening the diaspora activities.
The event continued with a banquet and national dances.
