More than 1,600 flights were canceled in the United States on December 26 due to snowfall, according to data from the specialized portal FlightAware, APA reports.
According to him, John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark Airport, all located in New York City, were severely damaged by the disruptions. Up to 23 cm of snowfall was expected in these areas.
More than 19,000 flights were delayed. Delays and cancellations were also reported at airports in Boston, Detroit, and Philadelphia.
