Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has commented on the arrival of a Russian grain-carrying train to Armenia via Azerbaijan and Georgia, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
Pashinyan called this a significant and historic event.
“I once again state that Armenia is ready to ensure the transit of freight trains from Marqara to Kornidzor and in the opposite direction — from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and from Türkiye to Azerbaijan. Within half an hour, a train from either side can arrive at the crossing point, and we are fully prepared to manage the transit,” Pashinyan said.
