The meeting between President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas has concluded, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
Israeli attacks on Palestine and regional developments were the main topics of discussion.
Erdoğan stated that Israel’s attacks on Gaza have entered a new phase, posing a threat not only to Palestine but also to regional stability. He emphasized that Türkiye will continue to highlight the Palestinian issue on every international platform and will be the voice of Palestine at the United Nations.
The President also underlined that Türkiye’s priority is to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and bring an end to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
