An investigation is underway at the Kalbajar Military Prosecutor's Office into the fact that 5 servicemen of the Azerbaijani Army received various degrees of bodily injuries as a result of a mine explosion in the Kalbajar district on August 5, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office said in response to APA's inquiry.

On August 5, at about 19:05, while the execution of a supply mission in the Kalbajar region, a military truck struck a mine planted by the Armenian armed forces, the Ministry of Defense told APA.
As a result of the explosion, four servicemen of the Azerbaijan Army sustained injuries and were promptly evacuated to a nearby medical facility. Their conditions are currently stable, with no immediate threat to their lives.
An incident is being investigated.
