In January–June 2025, the consolidated budget revenues of Azerbaijan amounted to 24,357.9 million manats, while expenditures totaled 19,593.7 million manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.
A budget surplus (surplus) of 4,764.2 million manats was recorded in the consolidated budget.
The revenues of the State Social Protection Fund, a component of the consolidated budget, amounted to 3,962.9 million manats (an increase of 554.6 million manats or 16.3% compared to the same period in 2024), while its expenditures stood at 3,743.5 million manats (an increase of 324.5 million manats or 9.5% compared to the same period in 2024).
The revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund amounted to 121.4 million manats (a decrease of 33.7 million manats or 21.7% compared to the same period in 2024), while expenditures were 84.4 million manats (an increase of 17.4 million manats or 26.0%).
The budget revenues of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund reached 1,253.8 million manats (an increase of 82.5 million manats or 7.0% compared to the same period in 2024), and expenditures amounted to 1,015.4 million manats (an increase of 219.9 million manats or 27.6%).
The revenues of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan amounted to 8,815.9 million manats (a decrease of 427.0 million manats or 4.6% compared to the same period in 2024), while its expenditures were 7,264.8 million manats (an increase of 862.1 million manats or 13.5%).
The budget revenues of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 213.2 million manats (a decrease of 47.7 million manats or 18.3% compared to the same period in 2024), while expenditures stood at 203.2 million manats (an increase of 11.7 million manats or 6.1%).
Note that for the current year, the consolidated budget revenues are projected at 43.95 billion manats, and expenditures at 47.63 billion manats.
