The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, held meetings with the heads of relevant agencies from several countries participating in the 58th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), APA reports.
The minister met with Nazim Farouk Abdulhamid Mohammed Abdulkarim, Director General of the Civil Protection Authority of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Rajabali Rahmonali, Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan; Hamed Othman Aldeha, Director General of the Civil Defense Department of the State of Qatar; and Vadim Sinyavski, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
During the meetings, there was a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
