"Ahliman Ganjiyev, who was detained in Yekaterinburg on June 27, was beaten with a truncheon and tortured with electric shocks," Ganjiyev's advocate Ilkin Amirov said, APA's Russian bureau reports.
According to him, Ganjiyev was tortured with electric shocks and beaten with a heavy object.
The advocate said that his client was hospitalized after being beaten and tortured: "We believe that my client has nothing to do with the crime committed. He is innocent. He has not confessed even after torture and will not."
