President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Belarus on a working visit

Vladimir Putin will take part in the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting and the plenary session of the 4th Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk, APA reports citing SB news.

The Russian leader's plane landed at Minsk National Airport, BelTA reports.

The events are organised within the framework of Belarus' presidency in the EAEU bodies in 2025.

Representative delegations from several dozen countries are expected to attend the events. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko will chair the EAEU summit.

The Eurasian Economic Forum has begun its work today, June 26th, at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre. Six major thematic blocks – including 35 events, which will be attended by more than 2,700 people from 33 countries – are planned.

The EAEU leaders' summit will take place on June 27th at the Palace of Independence. The agenda covers topical issues of Eurasian integration related to international activities, strategic directions for the development of Eurasian economic integration, liberalisation of services in the EAEU, economic co-operation in sports, as well as the development of trade-economic liaisons with the main partners of the EAEU.
