On June 23, 2025, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ceyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, APA reports.
During the call, the sides discussed the partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE, cooperation both bilaterally and within international organizations, as well as the regional and international security situation.
Both ministers expressed serious concern over the security situation in the region caused by the Israel-Iran confrontation and emphasized the importance of resolving issues through diplomatic means.
The ministers also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
