The domestic procedures required for the entry into force of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual exemption from visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports,” signed on April 23, 2025, in Beijing, have been completed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
In accordance with the relevant provision, the agreement will take effect on July 16, 2025.
Under the agreement, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China holding valid ordinary passports will be exempt from visa requirements for entry, exit, and short-term transit on each visit for up to 30 days, not exceeding a total of 90 days within a 180-day period.
