On June 24, as part of the visit to the People's Republic of China, the Azerbaijani delegation held a meeting with Ms. Cao Shumin, Minister of the State Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China, and other senior officials of the institution, the Media Development Agency told APA.
A “Memorandum of Cooperation in the Field of Radio and Television Broadcasting” was signed between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China. The purpose of the memorandum is to develop cooperation in the field of radio and television broadcasting, and to accelerate the exchange of experience and personnel.
Note that the Azerbaijani delegation to China included Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Kamran Hasanov, Head of the Media Sector of the Department for Relations and Communication with Non-Governmental Organizations of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan; Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Information Agency of Azerbaijan; and Rufat Hamzayev, Executive Director of the “AnewZ” TV channel.
