The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan held a phone conversation to discuss the current state and future development of their strategic alliance
Azerbaijanchr("39")s Foreign Ministry told Olaylar that Azerbaijan"s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Uzbekistan"s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov reviewed bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
The sides emphasized that high-level political dialogue between the heads of state has played a key role in the dynamic development of relations in political, economic, trade, transport, energy, investment, and humanitarian areas.
They also expressed satisfaction with mutual support and effective cooperation within international and regional organizations, including the UN, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), stressing the importance of continued coordination on shared interests.
The ministers further exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
