“WUF13 has already created new opportunities for the region,” Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture and WUF13 National Coordinator Anar Guliyev said during his speech at the official opening press conference held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
“WUF13 is completely new for this region. It is being held for the first time in our part of the world, and this itself is already the first major opportunity. We can come together with our neighbors and friends to discuss what the future of our cities will look like,” he stressed.
Anar Guliyev noted that numerous interesting sessions, events and expert discussions are being organised within the framework of the forum: “Of course, many interesting sessions, events and expert discussions are being held here, and I believe that all of us will benefit from this.”
