The delegation has already departed for Azerbaijan and intends to actively participate in the forum"s events.
In particular, delegates will take part in technical sessions and discussions focused on climate change, urban environmental protection, sustainable development, waste management, the development of "green" cities, reducing air pollution, and improving the resilience of urban systems.
As part of the visit, meetings are also planned with international organizations, donors, and representatives of various countries to discuss environmental cooperation, technical assistance, and joint projects.
It should be noted that WUF13 will take place in Baku on May 17-22. The forum is being organized in close cooperation between Azerbaijan and United Nations Human Settlements Programme and aims to facilitate the exchange of international experience in sustainable urban development, "smart cities," and innovative urban solutions.
