During meetings with management, the conditions, material and technical resources, and initial staff training were assessed.
These medical facilities are the Baku Health Center, the National Ophthalmology Center, the Central Clinic, Liv Bona Dea, the International Medical Center (Babek branch of Baku Medical Plaza), and Melhem Hospital.
Coordinators have been appointed to organize and coordinate work on-site.
Several institutions under the Ministry of Health (TABIB) are also involved in providing medical care: Yeni Klinika, Central Medical Clinic, Oilworkers Central Hospital, Mehemmedi Modular Hospital, and the Republican Center for Emergency and Urgent Medical Care.
In addition, doctors and nurses will be deployed from medical institutions under the ministry to medical posts established during the event, if necessary, to provide medical services.
For sanitary and hygienic purposes, regular disinfection work is planned in areas where guests gather (event venues and other facilities), as well as joint monitoring in catering facilities, hotels, and restaurants.
The 13th session of the World Urban Forum will be held in Baku from May 17-22.
