Azerbaijan to shut down “e-Social” app as services fully integrated into MyGov platform

Targeted efforts are also being carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in the direction of implementing the “Action Plan for 2026–2028 on accelerating digital development in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by the order of President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry told APA.

It was noted that within the framework of measures taken to transition digital public services to a unified centralized system, the Ministry is nearing completion of the integration of its digital services provided through the “e-Social” mobile application into the “mygov” platform.

The process will be fully completed by the end of this month, and starting from May 1, the “e-Social” application will completely cease its operations.

Thus, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has become the first state body whose e-services have been integrated into the “mygov” platform.

At the same time, in order to prevent duplication of digital services belonging to the institution and considering that these services are now provided in a centralized manner through a single platform – the “mygov” platform, the “e-Social” mobile application is being discontinued.

Note that the Ministry, as one of the institutions that most extensively applies digitalization in public administration, has digitized more than 90 percent of its services in recent years.

It has also made more than 50 of these services proactive, and was the first state body to migrate its information systems to the Government Cloud (G-cloud) infrastructure.
