In 2023, 2,049 students graduated from one of the country’s leading universities, the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
According to Yeniavaz.com, this information was presented in the “Graduate Employment Ranking” published by the State Employment Agency.
It is reported that 73.5% of the university’s graduates that is, 1,505 people were employed. Among those employed, 43.2% were women and 56.8% were men.
In 2023, among the employed graduates, 783 people (52%) earned salaries below 400 manats. The number of graduates earning between 401 and 500 manats was 235 (15.6%). Only 4 people (0.3%) earned salaries in the range of 1,401 to 1,550 manats.
In 2023, the main employers of the university’s graduates were banks and companies operating in the retail sector.
It is noted that 37 graduates were employed by Kapital Bank, 26 by Araz Supermarket, 17 by McDonald’s, and 11 by AZZA.
