The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for the average daily global oil demand for 2027, APA-Economics reports this, citing OPEC’s monthly report.
According to the report, next year the average daily global oil demand will be 107.86 million barrels, which is 1.34 million barrels more than the forecast for 2026.
The forecast indicates that this year the figure will be 106.52 million barrels (the forecast has not changed), which is 1.38 million barrels more compared to the 2025 figure (105.14 million barrels).
Recall that in 2024, the average daily global oil demand was 103.84 million barrels.
