France announces squad for 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Azerbaijan

The French national team’s squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Azerbaijan has been announced, Apasport.az reports.

The head coach of the two-time world champions, Didier Deschamps, has called up 24 players:

Goalkeepers: Lucas Chevalier, Mike Maignan, Brice Samba

Defenders: Jonathan Clauss, Lucas Digne, Theo Hernandez, Ibrahima Konaté, Jules Koundé, Benjamin Pavard, William Saliba, Dayot Upamecano

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga, Mattéo Guendouzi, Manu Koné, Adrien Rabiot, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Warren Zaïre-Emery

Forwards: Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué, Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise, Marcus Thuram

It should be noted that the French national team will host Ukraine on November 13, and three days later will face the Azerbaijani national team in Baku.
